Our most-popular tour leaves from the town of Colorado Springs and lasts roughly 2.5 hours. This foothills tour highlights Colorado Springs' most-beloved sights, including Pike's Peak and Garden of the Gods. Our local guides, rich Colorado history and amazing scenery will provide a memorable journey through Colorado's colorful and rustic past.

Tours head out of town via North Cheyenne Canyon and into the foothills of Pike's Peak and the Rocky Mountains. Our tour stops at Helen Hunt Falls for a brief visit to a classic Colorado water fall 2,000 feet above Colorado Springs. Above the falls your tour route joins the Shortline Railroad grade traversing through two historic rail road tunnels and offering spectacular vistas. The views over the city and plains inspired the song "America the Beautiful."

The terminus of the railroad grade ends at a location stuck in time, taking you back over 100 years to a rustic, frontier-era Colorado. Driving through the historic districts of Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs, your guide will point out the oldest building in the county built in 1859. Cowboys and Indians traded furs on these streets and laid the foundations for the building of the west in these old structures.

We complete the drive with a tour of Garden of the Gods, a city park registered as a National Historic Landmark. Take advantage of those unobstructed photo opportunities from our open-air Jeeps as the majestic red-rock formations unfold before you.

This is a wonderful Jeep outing for guests that are short on time or just want a dramatic way to end the day. The tour is about 70% on paved road and 30% on dirt and is offered year-round.

While many zip-line tours begin and end each line on artificial platforms, this 1.5 hour tour utilizes cliffs and steep wooded forest for launch and landing zones. Though not for the faint of heart at over 6500 feet in elevation, you'll have a local guide for support, bottles water and round-trip shared transport to rest your body after a somewhat taxing but rewarding experience. No glorified chairlifts here--prepare for an authentic zip-line experience.

Depart at 11am from Manitou Springs and journey via round-trip shared transfer vehicle. Perched at the edge of canyon walls and high atop trees, you'll encounter 5 ziplines varying in length from 225' to over 650', with half-mile hikes required for certain transfers between lines. Choose to run and jump off the 'leap of faith' or a trust fall backwards off P.U. Plunge, but be sure to come prepared for a modestly rugged outdoor activity with dust, dirt, sweat and limited facilities.

Keep in mind that you will be launching from and landing on dirt trails, so closed-toe shoes are required. We have water jugs on the course, but some people bring a camelbak type hydration system for maximum comfort. This tour takes place in an uncontrolled, hot and dry environment at over 6500 feet of elevation, where wildlife and short hikes of 500 feet in length and 100 vertical feet will be encountered. Proper landing position is highly recommended, necessitating leaning back and lifting your legs, so if a guest can’t hold this posture, then we don't recommend the tour for them.
